Found a very cheap (~$7 USD) Kawai KC-10 'Spectra Digital Synthesizer' but can find surprisingly little about it online. It's a rompler from 1990. Essentially it is just a bunch of samples to combine, with some amplitude-ADSRs, like a much more primitive version of what can easily be done in a tracker or DAW.

More like primitive additive synthesis than anything else (but very primitive). Guess that it is built into a 5-octave keyboard (that can be worn like a guitar with a strap) is the best thing about it. The curious thing is that the mentions the KC-10 as one of the classic Detroit techno synths. Not sure if that is a joke edit? If not I'm very interested in what artists used it and what sounds it might be good for? Or was it just very cheap already a few years after launch?
