I installed Debian 8 (Jessie) with a triple boot on my MacBook Pro 2011 15' (model 8,2). EDIT: The result of the uname -r command is 3.16.0-4-amd64, and in some pages, they say I have to upgrade the kernel to 3.2, but I didn't find how to do that on Debian 8 amd64 and it seems tricky.

Hi I recently install 9.10 on my new macbook pro after great trials and tribulations. After I finally got everything into a glorious working state I went ahead and installed the latest CUDA drivers from NVIDIA to do some GPU work. As a result of this I believe the GCC package was downgraded, and as a result of that, my wireless support packages seem to have disappeared. Presumably all the necessary packages are on the CD so I should (hopefully) be able to restore wireless functionality, but I have no idea what the packages are so I'm a bit stuck. Anyone out there with a clue as to how I might proceed? Thanks for the suggestions. I've tried everything and seem to still be getting nowhere so I think i may have to just reinstall from scratch rather than waste more time trying to figure this out.
